“On Thursday morning, July 24, a man died after being hit by a Philippine National Railways (PNR) train in Manila,” reports dzMM correspondent Noel Alamar on ABS-CBNnews.com.
Witnesses say that the man was about to cross the railroad tracks when he was sideswiped by the approaching train.
Barangay officials say the man may have been one of the informal settlers who have started rebuilding their houses near the railway.
