This is just one of the many ways that makes our airport the worst in the world.
“Samson Alcantara, 79, a passenger bound for China collapsed while on queue at the check-in counter of AirAsia at the old domestic airport or, as it is officially called, the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 4,” reports Raoul Esperas on ABS-CBNnews.com.
(If we’re not mistaken, Alcantara is the lawyer and professor who ran for senator.)
Anyway, Alcantara lost consciousness, causing his head to hit the floor. He rushed to San Juan De Dios Hospital.
The report noted: “Last May 15, another passenger, Angelita Baroso, collapsed on the floor at the immigration counter of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 due to the heat. She also said she could no longer bear the extreme heat, which was aggravated by the long queues at the immigration departure area.”
