What a tragedy.
“A 55-year-old man — who was later identified through his driver’s license as Carlos Yee Legara of Pasay City — who was about to meet a passenger arriving at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 collapsed and died sometime around 9 a.m. on Friday, October 9,” reports Rudy Santos in The Philippine Star.
The report noted: “Witnesses said Legara was standing beside them when he suddenly collapsed and hit his head on a chair. He was then rushed to the airport clinic. Doctors said they have yet to determine Legara’s cause of death.”
Police officers immediately went to the address indicated on Legara’s driver’s license to notify his relatives.
