We blame this mishap on the young criminals.
“Sometime before dawn on Monday, March 3, a man man was hit by a taxi while he was running after two minors who had snatched his wallet and tablet computer,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
The man was so intent on the chase that he failed to see the taxi driven by Ireneo Supe at the corner of G. Araneta and E. Rodriguez Avenues.
The shocked taxi driver stopped to help the man, who crashed into his cab and had sustained injuries after falling onto the ground.
Witnesses said the minors who had taken the man’s things were already known as notorious snatchers in the area. They have been apprehended several times in the past, but they always end up being released by social workers.
