“Alejandro de Luna, who was celebrating his 32nd birthday on Monday, Mar 10, was shot dead on the same day in his neighborhood in Barangay Holy Spirit, Quezon City,” reports Rey Galupo in The Philippine Star.
According to Police Officer 2 Louie Serbito, the attack happened at around 5am and was said to have been done by two men on a motorcycle. The security guard of a nearby townhouse saw the suspects speeding away, but the report didn’t say if he had seen their faces or taken note of the motorcycle’s license plate numbers. The report revealed that “De Luna died from several gunshot wounds from a .45 caliber pistol.”
The case is still under investigation.
