Nothing like some scandal to shake things up.
“On Monday night, July 7, a lawyer caught his wife having sex with their religious group’s minister at a motel along Hillcrest Drive in Pasig City,” reports Non Alquitran in The Philippine Star.
The report revealed that “the lawyer hired the services of private investigators from the Eyespy Detectives and Investigators Co. following reports that his wife had been having an affair with the minister.”
Then, at about 6pm on Monday, a private investigator informed the lawyer that his wife and the minister had checked into the motel.
Thus, the lawyer, with a police officer and some barangay officials in tow, barged into the motel room and saw the lawyer’s 42-year-old wife in bed with the minister, 50.
Both the wife and the minister was brought to the Eastern Police District (EPD) annex for investigation.
The report noted: “The couple and their minister live in the same barangay in Marikina City.”
Here’s the clincher: “The lawyer’s wife claimed they were just talking and eating in the motel room. For his part, the minister, who is separated from his wife, claimed that his relationship with the lawyer’s wife is not ‘full-blown.'”
The lawyer is planning to sue his wife for adultery and the minister for concubinage.
