The story is a lot more complicated than that. Their spat actually started over rice.
“A 28-year-old man in Cagayan de oro City named Aminodin Macadaag burned down his own house after his live-in partner refused to have sex with him,” reports Shiela Labrador on ABS-CBNnews.com.
According to the live-in partner, who is five months pregnant, said she and Macadaag had a fight on Wed, Feb 25,
after he refused to get rice from his grandmother.
To get back at him, she refused to have sex with him.
That same day, fled from their home when she saw Macadaag with a knife in his hand. She became more afraid when he threatened to burn their house so she left the area.
When the woman came back to their home at around 1am on Thu, Feb 26, their house was in ashes.
The report noted: “She will stay with a relative, in the meantime. Macadaag is now being hunted down by the authorities.”
