Man attempts to jump off Quiapo Bridge

He sure made Sunday a memorable one for others, too—and not in a good way.

“On Sunday afternoon, August 17, a man attempted to jump off the top of Quiapo Bridge. The incident caused heavy traffic in the area,” reports Junry Hidalgo on DZMM.com.ph.

According to Manila Police District (MPD), the man, who was wearing a yellow t-shirt and red shorts, had also been armed with a small knife.

Four members of the Manila Fire Department (MFD) followed the man on top of the bridge. The man was reportedly convinced to get down from the top of the bridge after he saw the cushion bag laid under the bridge.

The man was taken to Quiapo Police Station for questioning and investigation.
