At around 8:30pm on Tue, Sep 8, Richard Pring, 32 — who goes by the aliases ‘Target’ and ‘Richard Tenorio’ — was arrested at his house in Grace Park, Caloocan City for robbing killing a 17-year-old student named Renzo Rey Bodoy.
“At 6:30am that same day, both Bodoy and Pring were on a jeepney traversing Quezon Bridge. Pring then declared a robbery. Instead of yielding his bag, Bodoy jumped off the jeep and ran. But the suspect chased the teenager and stabbed him to death,” reports Aie Balagtas See in The Philippine Star.
The Manila Police District (MPD) homicide section said “a 27-year-old woman was hurt after she jumped from the jeep during the commotion.”
Witnesses were able to identify Pring, who was notorious for his crimes.
Pring is now detained at the MPD headquarters pending the filing of murder and robbery charges against him.
