The prime suspect behind the gruesome kidnapping and killing of a 5-year-old girl was arrested yesterday in San Jose del Monte City in Bulacan.
Eman Lambuhon, 24, was nabbed by the authorities after they learned he was going to the village of Santo Cristo to meet his friends, reported radio station DWIZ.
Witnesses alleged that Lambuhon kidnapped his neighbor Princess Angela Langomez from her home in Del Monte Heights on Sunday morning.
Authorities believe Lambuhon then dragged the child to a dark alley, where he alleged killed her by hitting her in the head with a rock, reported TV news program Unang Balita. The child’s lifeless body was found hours after she was discovered missing by her family.
Lambuhon has already confessed to the crime.
“I don’t know how it happened,” he told the daily news how in Filipino. “Even if I ask for mercy, it happened already.”
The child’s body will undergo an autopsy to determine if she was also raped, reported Radyo Inquirer.
