Some things are better left done in the privacy of one’s own home.

A man who works at a car wash was arrested by the police yesterday for allegedly catcalling and masturbating in front of two women at Barangay (village) Old Balara in Quezon City.

According to one of his victims, the man, identified by GMA News’ Balitambayan as Brian Buot, was seen using the flashlight from his cellphone when he was doing the deed.

His way of making sure he was holding on to the right thing?

According to ABS-CBN News, the two women arrived at Old Balara at around 8pm.

One of the women said in Filipino: “We were about to go home. Then there was this man [whom we saw] in front of us doing it [masturbating] so we ran away because we were so scared.”

But it didn’t end there.

When she went outside her house again a few hours after, she allegedly saw the man doing the same thing. He also allegedly catcalled her several times.

Naturally, the woman ended up reporting Buot to the police, who said they caught the man right in the act of masturbating.

A certain PO1 Mark Castillo told ABS-CBN in Filipino: “We saw it clearly because of the light of his cellphone and because of the movement of his hands.”

Buot denied the accusations and said he was simply holding his phone. He will be charged with violating Quezon City’s anti-catcalling ordinance as well as unjust vexation.
