Makati’s anti-drug council gets pat on the back from DepEd

Apparently, it’s not enough to tell students to just say, “No.”

“The Makati Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) received a commendation from the Department of Education (DepEd) for its rigorous information drive to educate students about the dangers of drug abuse,” reports Anna Liza Villas-Alavaren in the Manila Bulletin.

Plaques of recognition signed by Dr. Luz Almeda, DepEd-National Capital Region (NCR) regional director, Dr. Dominico Idanan, DepEd-Makati officer-in-charge, were given to Mayor Jejomar Erwin “Junjun” Binay Jr. and MADAC.
