On Tue, Sep 29, a taxi driver named Benjie Rosales and the driver of a car named Bert Abad came to blows during rush hour in Makati City.

“According to an initial investigation, the two cars were said to have been traveling along Makati Avenue when taxi driver Rosales, suddenly swerved and cut the path of the Toyota Camry being driven by Abad,” reports Faith del Mundo on InterAksyon.com.

Abad reportedly got down from the car and struck the taxi with a piece of wood. Rosales took out a tire wrench, got out of the taxi, and then used it to strike Abad in the neck.

Later on, as the report noted “it was learned that Rosales was racing so that he can come up with his day’s ‘boundary.'”

The two men fought until authorities came to stoip them. Rosales is said to be facing physical injury charges.
