Makati residents to get free livelihood training

Makati City is giving its residents free livelihood training as well as equipping them with additional skills that they could use to apply for jobs overseas.

Mayor Jejomar Erwin Binay said the Makati Training Placement and Livelihood Consortia (MTPLC) will be accepting new applicants for the second batch of trainees until June 15. MTPLC program manager Apollo Mambiar said there will be a one-day admission test on June 18. Enrollment will be from June 25 to 27 and classes will commence on July 1, the Philippine Star reported.
