Makati Police chief Senior Superintendent Manuel Lukban placed the city’s police force on alert as the city took delivery of ballots and canvass forms from the National Printing Office.
According to reports, Lukban said that there will be round-the-clock protection of the Office of the City Treasury to safeguard the election documents. On Friday, the police will provide security as the city takes delivery of the Precinct Count Optical Scan (PCOS) machines from the Commission on Elections.
