If you’re going to be in the dark, you might as well be in the dark with the rest of the world.
“The Makati City government is all set to join thousands of cities and towns worldwide in the 60-minute switch-off campaign on Saturday, Mar 29, at the Ayala Tower One, Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati City,” reports Anna Liza Villas-Alavaren in the Manila Bulletin.
According to the report, around 1,000 people are expected to attend this year’s Earth Hour crusade. The representatives from the city’s 33 barangays, commercial establishments, and environmental groups are expected at the switch-off.
