Like the most eager student in class, Makati City is always among the first to go for these safety drills. (Not that it’s a bad thing.)
“The Makati City government announced that they will be holding an earthquake drill on Monday afternoon, June 30, at the city hall,” reports Mike Frialde on Philstar.com.
That means “operations and transactions at the city hall will be suspended starting at 1pm to make way for the earthquake evacuation drill which will also simulate a power blackout.”
The drill was organized by the Makati Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC).
