Makati gives anti-rabies vaccine to 3,554 dogs and cats

It must’ve seemed like it was literally raining cats and dogs.

“Based on the report of Makati Veterinary Services Office (MVSO) chief Dr. Vivien Manalastas, a total of 3,554 dogs and cats were given free anti-rabies vaccination in the 11 barangays that participated in the kick-off event for the city’s anti-rabies drive earlier this month,” reports Mike Frialde on Philstar.com.

According to the report, the following are the barangays and the number of animals each presented for the free anti-rabies vaccination:

1. West Rembo – 510

2. Bangkal – 495

3. Olympia – 469

4. Comembo – 406

5. Rizal – 302

6. Pembo – 290

7. Tejeros – 278

8. Singkamas – 238

9. La Paz – 220

10. East Rembo – 209

11. Pio del Pilar – 137
