This Manila real estate saga won’t be over anytime soon.
“In an order promulgated on Feb. 10, Makati Regional Trial Court Branch 146 Judge Encarnacion Jaja Moya dismissed the petition filed by the DMCI Homes, Inc., seeking an injunction against the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) cease and desist order (CDO) on Torre de Manila,” reports Nathaniel R. Melican in Philippine Daily Inquirer.
The report noted: “The NCAA had mandated the builders of the Torre de Manila condominium to stop work on the high-rise condominium, which critics say is marring the sight line of the Rizal Monument and park.”
The report said that “counsels for DMCI has refused to comment on the court’s decision for the meantime while the company is still studying its next move.”
