Another case of a nasty drunk?
“Antonio Poyatos, the driver of Makati City councilor Nemesio ‘King’ Yabut Jr. has filed complaints of physical injuries and grave threat against his boss,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
According to the report Yabut allegedly beat up Poyatos and cussed at him after the latter failed to immediately answer a phone call from him. At that moment, Yabut wanted to be picked up from a bar along Jupiter Street in Makati.
Poyatos said that when Yabut got in the car, he started being hostile. Yabut then allegedly said, “Gusto mo barilin na lang kita? (Do you want me to just shoot you)?”
Afraid, Poyatos, who had been Yabut’s driver for four years, quickly offered his resignation once they were home.
Yabut has yet to comment on Poyatos’ allegation.
