Majority of toiletry firms don’t have license to operate says FDA

Most of the firms supplying toiletry requirements of tourist establishments don’t have a permit from the Food and Drug Administration, making their operations illegal. The agency announced its findings when it conducted random audits among hotels, resorts and inns in the country to check whether the toiletry it provides its customers have been registered with the FDA. The agency explained that being a household product, toiletry items must be registered with the FDA. Of the 58 suppliers the agency identified, 31 firms do not have a license to operate, the FDA revealed. This is no toilet humor for the FDA.
