Maguindanano massacre suspect nabbed in Taguig

One down and many more to go. (And this suspects has a very ironic name.)

“On Wednesday night, May 7, police arrested Warden Legawan, a former police officer who’s been identified as one of the suspects in the Maguindanao massacre,” Dennis Carcamo on Philstar.com.

Operatives of the Philippine National Police’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Group arrested Legawan in the vicinity of the Bicutan exit near Landbank, Gen. Santos Avenue in Taguig City.

The report noted: “Legawan is facing 56 counts of murder stemming from the murder of 58 people, including 32 media workers, on Nov. 23, 2009 in Ampatuan town, Maguindanao.”

Legawan is the 115th Maguindano massacre suspect who’s been arrested. For the record, there are a total of 195 suspects initially charged in court for the horrific crime.
