Magnitude 6.3 quake hits Negros Occidental

“The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said that at around 6:16pm on Thursday, May 15, a 6.3 magnitude quake struck 49 kilometers southwest of Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.

Phivolcs said damage and aftershocks are expected.

Fortunately, reports say no massive damage was incurred and no quake fatalities have been reported.
