Brace yourself for…what else…heavy traffic.
“The southbound lane of the Magallanes interchange will be closed to traffic from August 8 to 17 for rehabilitation by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH),” reports Mike Frialde in The Philippine Star.
As such, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) advised motorists to take the service road along Osmeña Highway instead once the road works begin.
According to MMDA traffic engineering center director Noemi Recio, the affected lane is the one from Manila going to Alabang. The repair is part of the DPWH project that will end in December.
