LTFRB suspends Florida bus line after Bontoc crash

Maybe the Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB) will be much tougher on buses now. (They should be in the first place.)

“The LTFRB has imposed a 30-day suspension on G.V. Florida Transport Inc. after one of its units figured in a fatal accident in Bontoc, Mountain Province on Friday morning,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.

The LTFRB legal team served the suspension order at Florida Transport’s Sampaloc, Manila and Cubao terminals on Saturday, Feb 8.

The Florida bus with plate number TXT 872 fell off a deep ravine on Friday morning, Feb 7.

Among the fatalities was comedian Arvin “Tado” Jimenez. At least 13 other people died from the crash.
