We smell something fishy.
“On Thursday, Feb 20, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) scheduled an inspection of the garage of Unicab Transport in Fairview, Quezon City but found it empty,” reports GMA News Online.
The report quoted LTFRB spokesperson Atty. Mary Ann Salada, who revealed that “the LTFRB sent the company a notice of inspection on Wednesday, Feb 19, informing them that they will be inspecting the company’s 21 bus units on Thursday, Feb 20.”
That was why the LTFRB representatives were baffled. Given the information, Unicab Transport should have prepared all its buses and its documents.
Instead, the LTFRB representatives were told some vague story about the Unicab Transport buses getting gas.
Yeah, right.
