“On Wednesday, Feb 19, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) denied the appeal of Don Mariano Transit Corp. (DMTC) to continue operating public utility buses following multiple violations of its franchise,” reports Kris Bayos in the Manila Bulletin.
The report cited LTFRB chairman Atty. Winston Ginez, who said “DMTC’s motion for reconsideration was denied for utter lack of merit.”
