Metro Manila residents hate traffic—so much so that they’ll risk being crushed by crowds.
“The volume of passengers using the Light Rail Transit (LRT) has risen to about 7% a week after the construction of Skyway Stage 3 Project has begun,” reports Mary Rose A. Hogaza in the Manila Bulletin.
That translates to an increase of around 369,318 passengers.

The report cited Leo Marie, an LRT employee, who revealed that before the Skyway Stage 3 Project started, their records show that they service 5,465,113 passengers in a week. However, their most recent weekly data showed that they served 5,834,431 passengers.
