Are we going to end 2014 with a storm?
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration announced that a low pressure area (LPA) entered the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) on Friday morning, Dec 26.
As of 10am, the LPA was estimated to be 860 kilometers east of Hinatuan, Surigao Del Sur.
“PAGASA forecaster Alvin Pura said that should the weather system become a storm, it will be assigned the local name ‘Seniang,'” reports Rommel Rio on InterAksyon.com.
