Valenzuela City residents with kidney problems need not go far anymore. The City now offers low cost hemodialysis services at the city government-run Valenzuela City Emergency Hospital.
The hospital launched its dialysis center earlier this month. It is equipped with five brand-new dialysis machines. The center also has its own nephrologist on its staff.
Valenzuela City residents can avail of the services for only PHP1,875, which is half the price compared to regular patients. Indigent patients on the other hand, pay only PHP1,275.
Meanwhile, patients with Philhealth cards will be asked to present their ID cards in advance, Inquirer News reported.
