Two Philippine Air Force (PAF) KAI FA-50 Fighting Eagles flew alongside the Philippine Airline (PAL) plane that President Noynoy Aquino and his companions rode on.
The President had gone to the US for the the Association of Southeast Asian Nations – US Summit hosted by US President Barack Obama. On Fri, Feb 19, His plane was escorted back into Philippine airspace by the two new fighter planes, which are part of the Aquino administrations efforts to modernize the military.
