Despite the rain and strong winds, the citizens’ assembly at Rizal Park against the burial of former president and dictator Ferdinand E. Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani was packed with participants this morning, Aug 14.
The event, called Coalition Against the Marcos Burial in Libingan Ng Mga Bayan, is “a multi-partisan collection of groups and personalities who are firmly anti-Marcos…because we recognize that the ultimate decision lies in President Duterte, this assembly is an appeal that offers a solution.”
