A Coconuts Manila reader has contributed this photo of a sign that was posted at Renz Carinderya in Pasay City.
The sign bears the words, “Wanted Helper.” Then it adds: “Lady, beki, or T-bird with pleasing personality apply inside.”
The requirements? Barangay clearance, a bio data sheet, and a high school diploma.
We have to ask: What has this establishment got against men?
The reader said he asked the people manning the eatery why they seemed to have excluded men from the job opening, they simply laughed.
The store may have taken down the sign since he last saw it, says our reader.
