Aside from being fearless and feisty, what do President Rodrigo Duterte and Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales have in common?
Apparently, the Carpio Family.
On Sep 16, Fri, Duterte and Morales walked down the aisle as principal sponsors in Waldo and Regine Carpio’s wedding at San Agustin Church in Intramuros, Manila.
Turns out Waldo Carpio is Ombudsman Morales’ nephew and the brother of Duterte’s son-in-law Manases Carpio, husband of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.
The wedding was well-attended by other high-profile personalities like Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos, business tycoon Ramon Ang, Labor secretary Silvestre Bello III, and Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte.
