“National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Director Carmelo Valmoria has called on local government units for support in fielding more policemen on motorcycles amid rising incidents of ‘riding-in-tandem’ attacks in the National Capital Region,” reports Francisco Tuyay in Manila Standard Today.
According to the report, Valmoria said around 1,000 policemen will be trained to form a pool of tactical riders for patrol and hot-pursuit operations.
