Legazpi-bound Cebu Pacific plane turns back to Manila

The crazy thing is, the reason for the move was allegedly not explained.

“On Friday, Mar 21, an Airbus A320 plane of Cebu Pacific Airlines bound for Legazpi was forced to return to Manila on reportedly due to technical problems,” reports Raoul Esperas on ABS-CBNnews.com.

Cebu Pacific flight 5J 323 had taken off from Manila at 7:59am from runway 13-31 of the Manila Domestic Airport. However, minutes later, the pilot informed the Manila Control Tower that he would maneuver the plane to return to Manila due to technical problems. The plane was back on the runway at 8:36am.

Passengers were made to get off the plane. They stayed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 while the aircraft was being repaired. The flight eventually departed at around 11:15am.

The report stated: “The management of Cebu Pacific, meanwhile, apologized to the affected passengers. However, they did not explain the problems encountered by the Airbus A320 plane.”
