No store is safe, it seems.
“Just recently, the Elarz Pambansang Lechon branch in Barangay Loyola Heights said it lost PHP60,000 in cash to two robbers who fled on a motorcycle,” reports Julie M. Aurelio in Philippine Daily Inquirer.
According to the case investigator PO2 Marianito Sagucio Jr. of the Anonas police station, the robbery happened at 3:25pm. First, a man entered the store and ordered lechon. However, he then drew a gun and demanded that the cashier hand over all the cash.
Then, the man ran outside the store where his cohort was waiting on a black motorcycle.
