Last Sun, Jun 7, at least 78 children from Marikina’s Manila Boystown were rushed at the hospital after they allegedly ate hotdog-sinangag (fried rice)-itlog (egg) combo or “hotsilog” that they had gotten from a regular donor.
“According to Senior Supt.Vincent Calanoga, Marikina police chief, the children aged seven to 17 years old were taken to Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center (ARMCC). The kids had complained of stomach pains and headaches. They later vomitted,” reports Arlene Rivera on Journal Online.
According to Dr. Emmanuel Bueno, director of ARMMC, said the children were given oral dehydration solution.
Fortunately, after a thorough checkup, all 78 children were discharged from the hospital and no one was diagnosed in serious condition.
