At least 50 celebrity drug users and 10 pushers included in Duterte’s watch list

Being in the government’s drug watch list is not a good thing — especially for celebrities who live their lives under the watchful eye of the public.

At least 50 celebrities are included in a drug list that is now in the hands of Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, said incoming Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority chairman Martin Martin Diño on Sat, Sep 24.

Diño revealed that majority of the users are into party drugs, and at least 10 are suspected drug pushers.

He said that some of those on the list have already taken drug tests.

National Capital Region Police Office director chief superintendent Oscar Albayalde earlier said that the list of celebrities suspected of being involved in drugs is based on information from arrested drug suspects.

The names of the celebrities on the list may be released to the public depending on the decision of either President Duterte or Philippine National Police chief Ronald dela Rosa, GMA News reports.

Earlier, the President released lists of personalities allegedly involved in drugs, that included ranking police officials, politicians and members of the judiciary.
