A motorcycle driver was killed this morning in a multiple-car collision in the city of Muntinlupa in southern Metro Manila.
The driver, Hermenegildo Lopez Cama, was found under a van by emergency responders, according to a report by GMA News.
Another motorcycle was hit by a passenger jeepney, but survived the accident.
According to the same report, other vehicles involved include two trucks, two passenger jeepneys, a private car, a sport utility vehicle, and six motorcycles.
12 others were injured and were taken to a hospital after the accident.
The accident happened when a trailer truck failed to break properly, hitting the vehicles from behind. The driver and passenger of the truck both fled and are wanted for possible hit-and-run charges by authorities.
