Here we go again.
“On Thursday, October 2, classes at Claret School—which is located along Mahinhin Street in UP Village, Diliman, Quezon City—were disrupted suspended after school principal Paolo Joseph Blando received a bomb threat via text at around 9:42am,” reports Francis T. Wakefield in Manila Bulletin.
The message, which came from +639063372752, reportedly read: “May bombang nakatago sa inyong paaralan. Malaking pagsabog ang mangyayari pakiabangan ang mga estudyante.”
The report noted: “As a precautiory measure, classes were immediately suspended by school authorities. Members of the QCPD’s Explosive Ordinance Division (EOD) led by Chief Inspector Noel Sublay went to the area to check.”
At around 11:20am, police declared the bomb threat a hoax, as they found no sign of explosives in the school or in the areas near it.
The report added: “Despite the area being declared safe, classes from Jr. Nursery, Sr. Nursery, Kinder, and Grades 1 to 12 were suspended.”
