Las Piñas resorts to class scheduling due to unfinished classrooms

M-W-F or T-TH-S? No, this is not a college class schedule. The CAA National High School in Las Piñas City has been forced to adopt this class schedule due to unfinished classrooms in the public facility.

According to a Philippine Star report,  classes for fourth year high school and grade eight students will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays while grade seven and third year high school students will have classes on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Guidance counselor Melania Gogorza said they have  trimmed down the class size to 50 per classroom compared to 80 to 90 the previous years. Classes are still held in two shifts: 6 a.m. to noon and 12:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

CAA National High School has some 3,000 students enrolled this year and their three-story school building only  has  16 classrooms that are ready for use.
