Lacson says there are 10 people who got kickbacks from Yolanda projects

This is one of those WTF! moments in Philippine history.

“Presidential Assistant for Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Panfilo Lacson on Thursday said he had a shortlist of politicians who received kickbacks from the projects meant to rehabilitate the areas devastated by Typhoon Yolanda,” reports Joyce Pangco Panares in Manila Standard Today.

According to the report, Lacson disclosed during a forum hosted by the Asian Institute of Management that his list had 10 names, most of whom were those of politicians.

However, Lacson refused to divulge the names for now. He only said, “I have a shortlist but I’ll deal with them sooner or later.”

Now, why does that sound even more scary?
