For the most part of the month, Aina Mayella Amarante’s Kris Aquino Dubsmash video has gotten and kept everybody’s attention; it’s even become a go-to explainer on what Dusmash is. And in a span of just a week, her video received over 900,000 views.
But Facebooker Maine Mendoza may have just broken that record. In just 24 hours, this Dubsmash video of her impersonating Kris Aquino and Kris’ EA Darla, has gotten over 1 million views. She uploaded it on Facebook on April 22 and when April 23 rolled by, it had already hit the 1m mark. At present, five days later, the video has 1.8 million views.
Understandably so. She compiled a lot of sound bites, her facial expressions are incredible. Plus, Maine is pretty cute.
In case you’ve been hiding, Dubsmash is a mobile app that lets you dub over audio clips. So far, Kris Aquino has been lording it over the Filipino Dubsmash scene.
