The amount of stuff he had made it obvious that he definitely isn’t a small-time pusher.
“A 48-year-old Korean named Jeong Hee Kim was recently arrested when he was caught in possession of some PHP400,000 worth of powdered ephedrine during a buy-bust operation conducted by joint operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC),” reports Francis T. Wakefield on Tempo Online.
According to Undersecretary Arturo G. Cacdac, Jr., PDEA director general, the suspect was nabbed by operatives of the PDEA Regional Office-National Capital Region (PDEA RO-NCR) after he sold powdered ephedrine to a poseur-buyer on Rizal Avenue corner Bambang Street in Sta. Cruz, Manila. Kim had 886 grams of the contraband.
Kim is now temporarily under the custody of PDEA RO-NCR in Quezon City.
