Korean man and Pinay partner nabbed for murder

The couple that commits murder together, gets arrested together.

“On Tuesday, May 13, Shin Beom Sik, 40, a Korean online casino operator and his Filipina partner, Ma. Theresa Salvador, were arrested at their house in BF Homes, Parañaque City for allegedly killing one employee and trying to kill another,” reports Ed Amoroso in The Philippine Star.

Shin and Salvador were then taken before the Imus, Cavite prosecutor’s office yesterday, as the crime they were charged for was done in the area.

The two were charged for the killing of Yang Kwang Sung, 31, and wounding Inseong Jeong, 30, both Korean nationals and employees of Shin’s online casino.

The couple confessed to the crime, but explained that they had only done it because “the victims took almost PHP1 million from the online casino.”

The report noted: “Inseong told police that he and Yang were kidnapped in Parañaque at around at around 1am on Monday, May 12, by five men, led by Shin, and a woman. They were taken to Cavite. Yang was later found dead but Inseong, who pretended to be dead, was rushed to the hospital by bystanders.”
