NBA star Kobe Bryant was in Manila yesterday to promote Lenovo’s latest line of mobile phones.
The 34-year-old LA Lakers’ player visited a Lenovo store at the Mall of Asia before attending a press conference at the Maxims Hotel in Resorts World Manila.

When asked at the press conference how he thinks the Gilas Pilipinas, who lost the FIBA Asia Championship final to Iran, can improve at the FIBA World Cup in Spain next year, Kobe answered.
“Just continue to play together. It’s not the strength of individual. It’s a team sport. It’s how well these individuals play as a team so just continue to work together with constant communication. If that happens then you’d really accomplish truly something special” he said.
