Recnetly retired basketball superstar Kobe Bryant will be in the country again from Jun 25 to 26 for the Mamba Mentality Tour. Moreover, he will also personally train promising young Filipino players through the Kobe Academy.
A Philippine Daily Inquirer report noted: “According to a statement from Nike, aspirants are invited to join the Kobe Academy Pre-Camp from June 22-24 to qualify for the Kobe Academy. To be a part of the Mamba Mentality Tour, click this link for all the details.”
The “Mamba Mentality Night” is also expected to happen at Smart Araneta Coliseum. However, no final schedule has been announced.
Bryant, who played for the Los Angeles Lakers for 20 years, has actually been to the Philippines several times. His first visit was back in 1998.
