Ricardo “RJ” Morada, the son of Bansud, Oriental Mindoro Mayor Ronald Morada did not attend Friday’s hearing on kidnapping charges.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) called the hearing based on the complaint of the alleged kidnapping of Las Piñas businessman Armando Galang.
Attending the hearing was Nestor Rivamonte, who denied the charges. Reports said that Rivamonte, an aide of Mayor Morada, is currently in jail at the New Bilibid Prison on a drug case. According to Galang, Rivamonte, and RJ Morada abducted him last year.
