Filipino KD fans, here’s some good news.
The Golden State Warriors’ Kevin Durant will be visiting the Philippines on July 8.
The two-time finals MVP will be in the country to launch his new shoes from Nike and meet his fans.
According to a press statement from Nike, fans can welcome him via an event across Nike Park Fort in Bonifacio Global City at 12:30pm on July 8. After which, he will proceed at a meet-and-greet for a small group of fans inside the store.
Durant will also lead a training session with a select group of basketball players at the Araneta Coliseum.
Durant visited the Philippines in 2011 but this marks the first time that he’ll be in the country for Nike.
Starting his career with the Seattle Supersonics at the age of 19, Durant won back-to-back championships with the Warriors in 2017 and 2018.
